Sir Blacky

Hey yall!! FYI I'm trying to say "yall" instead of you all when talking, but it's so flippin hard! Haha! The accent down here is so fun to listen to, and sometimes it sounds like a different language. I like the people down here so much! How was your week? What was your favorite meal this week? If you are starting up school again, how is it? Work hard because it will definitely help your future self. You can do it! This week was a good week with members. But not so good with non-members, sadly. We did yard work for Sister Weary, and she totally fits the southern gma that disciplines every young person, haha! She is so fun to be around, and has a dog named Sir Blacky!! HE IS SO CUTE! And in her backyard, there is a fence that connects to two other yards and both other yards have dogs and one has a friendly pig. I was dying of the amount of cuteness that was entering my body. Another member that we visited is from Brazil, so I got to ask some questions and talk in Portu...

Texas bby!

How are ya doing on this fine Monday afternoon? I'm starting to love Texas and figure out the wonderful things about it, and the things that I take for granted back home.  I'm understanding what's like to live with other young adults. My comps are amazing but everyone has their imperfections and that's what makes us human. My trainer is just in a bad mood like 20 hrs of the day, but the other 4 hrs he is hilarious. Can I just say, shopping for food is so rewarding when completed. Thank you mom for always buying my groceries. WE ARE TEACHING A NEW PERSON! His name is Jimmy and he is from Africa. In the first lesson, we were able to teach about the whole Restoration. He is such an amazing person. The missionary work is on and off but this week we have a lesson planned almost every day of the week. It's hard to...

How is everyone doing? I hope yall are living life to the fullest and learning from the hard times. I've had a week full of emotions. I said good-bye to my family on Tuesday, got on an airplane and ..... I AM IN TEXAS NOW!! YAY!  My trainer is a dope dude and I'm in a quad with another companionship. Two Utah boys, one Idaho potato boy, and my trainer is from Arizona. We all get along but the two senior boys are lazy and we had only one lesson all week. I'll talk more about that lesson though.  Our apartment is the nicest and newest one I guess in the mission Haha. That is definitely a positive, and we all like to cook which is amazing! All 4 of us have been living off of food for 2 people which had been rough, but that's why we have P-days to get more. They all know the doctrine of Jesus Christ really well, and I now know where I need to be to teach a clear lesson. Singing happens all the time which is an emotion booster. It does get hard somedays because sometimes we ...
